Lead Paint Inspection
Homes built before 1978 may contain lead-based paint β the leading environmental health hazard for children under 6. FHA loans on pre-1978 homes require lead paint assessment, and landlords must disclose known hazards.
Our Assessment Includes
- Visual assessment of all painted surfaces for deteriorated paint
- XRF or swab sampling of suspect surfaces
- Identification of high-risk areas (windows, doors, trim, friction surfaces)
- Written report documenting findings and confirmed lead locations
- Recommended next steps (encapsulation vs. abatement)
